  Work around for this is easy. We've encountered it many times. But the game allows you to quicksave mid battle and then load that save. No exiting the game no getting back into a lobby, nothing. It's actually great they allow the quicksave reload so fast and clean while other games would be tedious. Once you reload the bug is cleared.

  In Multiplayer, critical hit animation of ranger slitting enemy's throat seems to consistently cause this bug.

  It happens to me in multiplayer, it's always happening to the ''invited '' so far. we're lvl 2-3 and it happens in almost every combat.

  Only happen in Coop mode. The non host companion, if engaged, and another one kill the engaged enemy, then the engaged companion will become stuck and be useless to the rest of the battle, unless get pushed by a spear or a push back arrow.

  Have been experiencing the same bug, only way to 'fix' it is to save and reload when it happens which is a real pain. Didn't use to have this issue it's definitely the worst coop bug i've come across

  Consistently happens to me playing co-op if a kill animation happens to an enemy in combat.

  I reproducted it many times. Here are steps, with some informations if it can help :
  
  _adaptative + expert / ionmen
  _7 companions + 2 horses (no fighting)
  _lvl 4 group vs lvl 5
  _in fight in a camp
  _when destroying an explosive barrel, get stuck.
  
  I saved the savegame folder, so i can share it to try
