  A female companion makes sounds of a bear in my squad as soon as she attacks.
  I also have 2 bears in my group.

  Me too - Able to reproduce when my Female Bulwark/Destroyer does the Ram (Swing) attack with her mace. That voice in particular is masculine, but when she does other attacks, she has her normal female voice.
  
  My save file was last saved several months ago, so maybe an update broke it. Do let me know if this is fixable, or if it cannot be fixed, what workaround I can apply for this.

  a similar problem. I returned to the old saves after the release of the new DLC, and found that during the battle, some of the male characters make sounds in a female voice. and some of the female characters on the turn make sounds in a male voice

  Currently have this issue with males with female voices and vice-versa, bought the game yesterday and it was like this. Played the game long ago with Xbox Game Pass but got it on steam to support the devs. Though this is quite annoying and breaking immersion.

  I have this issue as well, most notable in the first zone prison, when talking to the prisoners that you can recruit. Not always the case but it's pretty often through my playthrough.

  Also got the voice over problem during fights with one of my companions. Male char with female voice - somehow buggy and irritating

  Just started a new game with tavern and pirates DLC. Two of my female companions have male voices. It's very jarring. Will this ever get fixed?

  Some of the starting companions, as well as hired ones, have incorrect voices. I never had this issue before, but it started in a new game after installing the Tavern DLC. It bothers me way more than I thought it would.

  Have experienced my female characters that use two-handed axes or two-handed maces sometimes making male sounds when swinging their weapons (base weapon ability). Would estimate this happens at a frequency of somewhere between 1/10 and 1/20 times.

  It is 2025 now, the bug is sitting here for a year. It ruins the game play so much. After I recruited a mercenary, cannot believe how it feels a male shouts in female voice on the battlefield, or vice versa.
