  Same problem here right from the first fight after leaving the temporary village of Redane, where the quest asks you to follow Sevela to the Beast.
  
  I tried Worbelito's advice by removing my thaumaturge and crossbowman, but it didn't work.
  I also tried killing all the creatures, but that didn't change anything.

  yup the fights broken boss leaves and get stuck until the roof caves in no way out

  I have the same issue. No units have the flee option upon reaching the "flee area" and as a result am unable to finish the battle and DLC. PLEASE FIX

  I figured it out. The bug is caused by either one of the new classes, so I went back to base and left the classes from the expansion there on the travel post. (The Crossbowman guy and my Thaumaturge).
  I forgot to leave my werewolf, so I brought her with me..
  and guess what? I could flee the battle. So try that and let me know.

  @Worbelito I've left all the character expansions, but it still doesn't appear, does it have to be with a werewolf character? because I don't have a werewolf character

  I have tried to remove the crossbow and censer players, tried letting it cycle through, but still no flee option. Not sure what happened, but it ruins the hunt because you have to 100% avoid interaction with the Beast, just to make progress or closeout and try again.

  I had the same problem still today - tested against the Beast in Brigga where you can finish by killing all the monsters and still no flee option in the green flee area.
  
  So Brigga is still not finishable.

  With the new patch , for my mercenaries it's good but the animals in the group don't have the option of fleeing. Likewise the NPCs of the hunt do not flee, they continue to fight

  Sadly I had to stop playing the game due this bug. IT's so annoying! Many patches, hotfix, DLC's, but they didn't fix this bug.

  Now the characters are normal but the animals are not. The developers are either lazy or incapable to let this kind of bug exist for so long.
