Bertram is not in the Cave

After I kill Captain Rovand for Bertram, he is not in the cave despite the flag on it saying "talk to Bertram". I think it is because I camped straight after the battle and before going to the cave

It s because Bertram appear in the Captain camp, he s not in the cave anymore. He his on the left side of Captain Rovand's body.
